Next Stop: Modernisation — Why Legacy Systems Can’t Deliver Rail’s Future

DAY 1 : Tuesday 22 Sep 2026, 1:30 PM
Tracsis-logo

Tracsis Panel

Rail is at a turning point. Globally, operators and infrastructure organisations are under pressure to deliver more reliable, efficient and passenger-focused networks. Yet many still rely on disconnected systems, manual processes and inconsistent data. Join an expert panel bringing together industry leaders to explore what meaningful rail modernisation looks like, why the need for change is becoming increasingly urgent, and how technology can make it achievable.

Predictive confidence: the next evolution of rail asset maintenance

DAY 2: Wednesday 23 Sep 2026, 1:45 PM
James Page 1

Speaker: James Page

Across the world’s busiest rail networks, asset performance is innately linked to service reliability. In dense, high-capacity environments, small changes in asset behaviour can quickly become service-affecting failures, creating disruption for passengers and pressure for maintenance teams. The session will show how Tracsis is helping rail move from reactive alarms and periodic maintenance to predictive confidence: earlier detection, better prioritisation, more targeted intervention and maintenance decisions supported by evidence rather than assumption.

Beyond your App: expanding your ticketing distribution capabilities

DAY 3: Thursday 24 Sep 2026, 1:00 PM
Linus Frank InnoTrans 1

Speaker: Linus Frank

Explore how transport operators can expand their ticket distribution channels beyond their own app. The session will focus on how to deliver public transit tickets through platforms such as a&o Hostels and the ADAC Trips app, reaching new target groups without creating competition for your existing offerings. The talk will also cover examples of custom use cases that can provide travellers with even greater flexibility and an improved passenger experience. Don’t miss your chance to explore this significant step in the evolution of ticketing technology.
